When will the project resume?

Work is scheduled to resume beginning Sunday, April 14. Crews will be working Sunday evenings thru Friday mornings, 7:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night work might begin earlier). There may also be some day/weekend work as needed.

GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION

The Granger-Hunter Improvement District will be replacing approximately 16,000 feet of aging waterlines along both sides of Redwood Road from 3100 South to 4100 South.

SCHEDULE

Construction: August 2023 – Fall 2024

Workdays: Sunday – Friday, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. (with occasional day and/or weekend work)

 

IMPACTS

The contractor will maintain access to businesses, residences, and connecting roads as much as possible; however, traffic along the various roadways may experience temporary closures and/or restricted access. Expect occasional delays and single-lane traffic within the work zones (see Updates). Street parking in active construction zones will be restricted. Business/property owners will be notified in advance of any scheduled service or access interruptions. Also, businesses/residents nearby will likely experience equipment noise, dust, and vibrations.

SAFETY
PLEASE, BE CAREFUL! For your own safety and others, drive slowly; be cautious; pay close attention to workers, signs and equipment; and maintain a safe distance when driving, biking or walking near construction work zones.

NO ENTRY ZONES
Signs and barriers are positioned for your safety. Do not move barricades, signs, or enter taped-off areas.
